Parking
Parking for disabled guests is available on a first-come, first-served basis. This is available for those with an authorized disabled government-parking permit. Disabled parking signs designate these areas and some spaces are van accessible. Cars parked in disabled parking areas without a permit are subject to applicable laws for removal/towing.
Note: CMA cannot issue or authorize temporary disabled parking permits.

Wheelchair accessibility
CMA is wheelchair accessible, with accessible elevators and ramps throughout our facility. However, our eco-boat tours are currently NOT wheelchair accessible. A person needs to be lifted and carried onto the boat or walk a short distance to sit, leaving the wheelchair onsite. Guests are welcome to bring their own wheelchairs and strollers.
For added convenience, CMA offers Manual Wheelchair Rentals (*250 lbs. maximum weight capacity) for rental on a one-day basis. Please check at Guest Services to for availability, and to rent wheelchairs.
If you are in need of a wheelchair, we strongly recommend you provide your own. There is no guarantee that a wheelchair will be available upon arrival on the day of your visit. A rental fee of US$5.00 plus a refundable deposit of US$50 is required for each chair. The deposit is returned when the guest returns the item undamaged to Guest Services. Driver’s licenses cannot be left in lieu of deposit. Credit cards are accepted for deposits.
For your convenience, wheelchair accessible areas are clearly marked with the International Symbol of Accessibility. At admission, upon request, an ADA wheelchair bound guest will be provided with a brochure and map of our facility identifying location of elevators, ADA restrooms, and ADA designated areas for each exhibit on the property.
Assistance Animals
We value all our Guests with Disabilities and service animals are welcomed at most locations throughout Clearwater Marine Aquarium. At Clearwater Marine Aquarium, a service animal is a dog, that is trained to do work or perform tasks for, and to assist, an individual with a disability. Service animals should remain on a leash or in a harness and under the control of the owner at all times.
