About the Evening
Experience the ultimate celebration under the stars at Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s Lights by the Bay event on June 15 as we celebrate family fun this summer!
Prepare to be swept away by the magic of our breathtaking drone show, illuminating the night with a symphony of lights and colors. Bring the whole family and immerse yourselves in the joy of this festive occasion, filled with live music, delectable treats, and exciting activities for all ages. Join us as we come together to create cherished memories and celebrate the beauty of life along the bay!
Enjoy access to visit the rescued dolphins, sea turtles, stingrays and other resident animals and explore a number of marine life habitats that will be viewable during the evening hours, plus a limited-time opportunity to see capybaras at CMA during this special event.

Enjoy the Aquarium After Hours
- Enjoy access to underwater views of the rescued dolphins, sea turtles, stingrays and other resident animals and explore a number of marine life habitats that will be viewable during the evening hours until 8:30pm.
See a Spectacular Drone Display in the Sky
- View a dazzling display of drone lights from the Dolphin Terrace or VIP Grand Ballroom Balcony. Enjoy the sunset and prepare to be amazed with the drone show.
Dazzling Entertainment Throughout the Evening
- Watch mesmerizing performers with illuminating entertainment and dance to live music throughout the evening.
Capybara Evening Chillout and Meet & Greet Opportunity
Join us for a unique experience as you witness the playful antics of the adorable capybara family, brought to you in partnership with Amazing Animals Inc.
Guests can enjoy a special evening session observing these charming creatures as they roam and frolic in their habitat while engaging in various activities including swimming, playing, and socializing during Lights by the Bay on June 15 from 6pm through 8:30pm. Located in the Atlantis Theater on Level 1.
For an even more intimate encounter, small groups will have the opportunity to meet the capybaras up close for an exclusive hands-on experience. This additional Capybara Meet & Greet experience is not included with admission and will be available for purchase separately. Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity!
Capybara Meet & Greet experiences have sold out! Guests can still visit capybaras in the Atlantis Theater between 6:30pm-7:30pm and 8pm-8:30pm. VIP Guests can enter starting at 6pm.

Reserve Parking
Convenient parking is available in the Parking Garage at CMA. Seasonal daily rates apply and parking is not included with tickets to Lights by the Bay.
Reserve parking in advance through ParkMobile to guarantee your spot. Please make sure to select the date of the event.
Net proceeds from this event benefit Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s ongoing mission to rescue, rehab, and release more marine life.
Please Note:
- In order to purchase or consume an alcoholic beverage, guests must be 21 or older. Additionally, you will be required to present valid identification to verify your age.
- Event includes access to select areas of Clearwater Marine Aquarium, including the Ruth & J.O. Stone Dolphin Complex and Visitor Center.

Dress attire is casual.
Please note that while we encourage a relaxed and comfortable dress code for this event, we kindly request that guests refrain from wearing bathing suits or any overly revealing clothing. We ask that appropriate clothing be worn to cover the torso and be suitable for public spaces. This may include items such as t-shirts, blouses, shorts, jeans, skirts, and dresses. Shoes or sandals are also required.
