Then, journey to the Antarctic and waddle like a penguin as you dive into hands-on activities, including a blubber experiment that reveals their survival secrets! Perfect for all ages, this winter wonderland is packed with excitement and discovery. Don’t miss out—come explore the magic of Blizzard Bay!
This frosty fun zone is packed with educational activities for all ages, open daily from Friday, November 8 until Sunday, January 5 from 10am to 5pm. Don’t miss the chance to experience these winter-themed exhibits and games:
- Arctic Adventure Room: Crawl through a polar bear den and learn about our northern animal friends! Play “Pin-the-Tusk” on the narwhal and enjoy other arctic animal games. (Note: The Arctic Adventure Room may be closed during school group programs, but it will reopen afterward.)
- South Pole Station: Take a journey to Antarctica and meet the amazing animals that live there! Participate in a blubber experiment, practice your penguin waddle, and find out which penguin species you’re taller than!
- Wintery Workshop: Get creative by making a headband of your favorite cold-weather animal! If crafting isn’t your thing, you can also color a worksheet or engage in other activities to learn more about these chilly climate creatures.
