This unique program invites families to embark on a captivating journey where they can delve into a new topic each day and earn a stamp in their passport as they expand their understanding of the marine world. From marine life conservation and animal behaviors to coastal ecosystems and marine research, marine biologists will facilitate interactive sessions, hands-on activities, and captivating presentations that bring each topic to life. Families can collect a new stamp in their passport every weekday as they travel through the realms of marine exploration.
Come back each day to collect every passport stamp between July 1- 31!
Mondays – Clearwater Bay – Come learn how to harness the power of beaks as you emulate the hunting techniques of coastal birds!
Tuesdays – Hawaii – Delve into the fascinating world of sea turtles, learning about each species before engaging in an interactive activity where you can discover how to identify each species based on their unique carapace features.
Wednesdays – Atlantic Coast – Get a bird’s eye view of Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s Research Institute right whale aerial surveys by discovering the how these majestic creatures are identified during aerial surveys.
Thursdays – Crystal River – Explore the world of manatees and discover the unique ways they navigate their environment. Learn about the hazards manatees face and ways we can help protect them!
Fridays – Alaska – Dive into the captivating realm of polar waters in Alaska in this hands-on experiment that explores the vital role played by blubber for the remarkable creatures that call these frigid environments home.
