About the Event

See Rescued Raptors Jan. 13-15!

Clearwater Marine Aquarium will have a special live exhibit featuring raptors, Florida Birds of Prey Jan. 13-15. This special exhibit will be located in the Spectrum Theatre at CMA.

Learn all about Florida Raptors! Boyd Hill Nature Park, The Narrows at George C. McGough Nature Park, Owl’s Nest, Wild Raptor Sanctuary at Moccasin Lake Nature Park and Clearwater Audubon Society will be joining us to exhibit their rescued birds of prey.

Birds will include:

• Screech owl
• Barred owl
• Great horned owl
• Red tailed hawk
• Red shouldered hawk
• Kestrel
• Bald Eagle (Sunday)
• And more!

There will also be educational activities including:

• Owl pellet dissection.
• Bird feeding game.
• Lowe’s will be demonstrating how to build Kestrel boxes for yards and raffling them off!

All “Birds of Prey” activities included with general admission.

Coastal Cleanup

Kick off the “Birds of Prey” weekend and join us for a coastal cleanup on Jan. 13. Learn more.

Coastal Cleanup: 8:00am to 10:00am

Bird Watching Boat Tour: Departs at 9:00am
(90 minute boat tour returns at 10:30am)

Florida Birds of Prey Exhibit: 11:00am to 5:30pm
The Narrows: 11am-2pm
Owl’s Nest: 2pm-5:30pm
Audubon Society of Clearwater

Lowe’s Kestrel Box Demonstrations and Raffle: 11:00am to 5:30pm

Sunday, January 14:

Florida Birds of Prey Exhibit: 11:00am to 5:30pm
Boyd Hill: 11am-2pm
The Narrows: 12:30pm-4pm
Owl’s Nest: 2pm-5:30pm
