Ever wondered what it’s like to work at an aquarium? Here’s your chance to find out! Join us for an exciting, hands-on experience where you’ll get an inside look at the fascinating world of aquarium careers. Meet our members of our dedicated team, participate in engaging activities, and go behind the scenes to discover what it takes to care for marine life, conduct research, and educate the next generation about ocean conservation. Don’t miss this unique opportunity for high school students to explore career paths in marine biology, animal husbandry, and more at Clearwater Marine Aquarium!
Participant Qualifications:
- Only available to current high school students in 9th through 12th grade.
- Passion to learn from industry experts in a career-focused program
- Complete online registration at cmaquarium.org
Please Note:
- Participating students must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian (unless 18 years of age) that must be collected prior to entry.
- Participants will check in and enter the R.O. Jacobson Education Center on the 2nd floor of the Visitor Center (building attached to the garage), not the main entrance.
- Admission is not included in the program’s cost but can be purchased separately.
- If a student chooses to pack a lunch or snack, please ensure no nuts or nut products come onto the floor if there is an allergy.
- This is a drop-off program. Parents or guardians are not participants.
