Join us March 10 through April 8, 2018, for Reptilepalooza! Learn all about these cold-blooded creatures with fun activities. Get up close and see live tortoises every day and meet snakes, skinks, alligators and other rescued reptiles on select dates.
Activities will include:
- Tortoise vs. turtle activity.
- Mock sea turtle triage and intake station for kids.
- Native vs. non-native species activity.
- Sea turtle hatchling hazard game.
- Activity – What is a reptile?
- Various live reptile presentations on select dates.
Partner organizations will be joining us with live, rescued animals:
March 10-April 8:
Keep Florida Wild. — Rescued sulcata and red-footed tortoises will be at Reptilepalooza every day.

Saturday, March 10:
FWC Gopher Tortoise Program. — Gopher tortoises. (Rescued, non-releasable wildlife.)
Sunday, March 18:
Owl’s Nest Sanctuary for Wildlife — Argentine black and white tegu, Florida king snake, scarlet king snake, brown and red corn snakes, lavender corn snake, small Burmese python, and Columbia red tail boas. (Non-releasable, non-native or exotic animal rescues.)
Nature Coast Antivenom Index L.L.C. — Eastern diamondback rattlesnake, cottonmouth, and copperhead. (Non-releasable or non-native invasive species.)
Sunday, March 25:
Amazing Animals — alligator, Burmese python, Savannah monitor, and small boa constrictor. (Non-releasable, non-native or exotic animal rescues.)
Saturday, March 31:
Owl’s Nest Sanctuary for Wildlife
Sunday, April 8:
Amazing Animals — alligator, Burmese python, sulcata tortoise and red footed tortoise. (Non-releasable, non-native or exotic animal rescues.)
