Cleanup Results:

Thank you to everyone that participated! We had 113 participants! The final weight collected was 865.2 pounds of trash! A lot of monofilament and cigarette butts were collected. The biggest item collected was a full chair tangled in the mangrove roots.

Winter’s Spooky Trash Stash – Coastal Cleanup

LOCATION: Memorial Causeway
PARKING: 127 Island Way, Clearwater, Fl
*Parking will not be available in Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s garage
CHECK-IN TENT: Corner of the Memorial Causeway & Island Way
Check-in starts at 8:30 a.m.

DON’T FORGET TO BRING:

• Refillable water bottle
• Sunblock
• Hat/Sunglasses
• Closed-toed shoes
• Insect repellent
• Container to collect trash

Help us “Go Green” by reducing the use of single-use plastic trash bags.
Bring your own trash collection container
(5-gallon bucket, plastic cat litter container, or large basket).
