Clearwater Marine Aquarium Reopening Friday with $5 Off Special
The rescued and resident animals at Clearwater Marine Aquarium are ready to welcome back guests this Friday, September 30, at 10am. Through Sunday, CMA is offering $5 off ticket prices as Floridians recover from the stress brought on by Hurricane Ian. Visit rough-toothed dolphins, Rex and Rudy, in their hurricane ride-out pool at the Ruth & J.O Stone Dolphin Complex before they return to their home on Monday!
Thankfully, our area was spared the worst of this storm. CMA’s Rescue Team is prepared to assist our community and partners in the Southeast Stranding Network during hurricane recovery efforts. Every visit and donation to CMA allows us to continue our mission and support marine life in need.
We look forward to welcoming guests back into our facility!

The CMA ride-out crew have been checking in and spending time with each of the animals to make sure they are all doing well throughout the storm. We hope your crew is safe tonight too!

Today we moved Rex and Rudy, our rescued rough-toothed dolphins, from the Rescue Deck into the Stone Dolphin Complex in preparation for Hurricane Ian. The move went extremely well and we are happy to have these two better protected from the storm now.

Clearwater Marine Aquarium will be closed Sept. 27 through Sept. 29 in preparation for Hurricane Ian. We are monitoring the storm and will provide more updates when available. Our hurricane preparations are underway to protect the animals and staff. Stay safe!
Hurricane Ian Relief
You can help provide support during this time by donating today.
Thanks to our hurricane preparations and the dedication of our designated onsite ride-out team, all of our rescued and resident animals will be monitored and cared for throughout the duration of the storm.
However, we still need your help! As a non-profit organization, we depend on you, our supporters, to continue our mission. Closing this week will cause a significant loss in funding, but with your donations, we can continue our work to provide care for our resident animals, rescue wildlife impacted by the storm and repair any damage to our facility.
