We welcome our local community and displaced Florida residents to come visit CMA, especially if you are without power and need somewhere fun to bring the kids. Come see Winter, Hope and all of our rescued animals! We’d love to see you!

Donate to Support Recovery After Hurricane Irma
Can’t visit? Donations of funds will help us continue our non-profit mission of rescue, rehab and release. It will also help us recover and repair damage to our facility caused by this record-breaking storm. With your help, we can continue to provide the highest-level of care for our rescued and rehabilitating animals.
Thank you to all of those who have been reaching out to us as we prepare for the effects of Hurricane Irma. We have always had a long-term hurricane policy in place, and we have been implementing it this week to ensure the safety of our animals and team members.
We initiated this comprehensive plan on Monday and our animals will be fully protected. As a rescue facility, their safety is as important as ours. Our plan involves multiple steps to ensure their safety, including hurricane window covers, backup generators, ample food stock and a full animal care team to ride out any storm with them.
CMA Temporarily Closed Due to Hurricane Irma
Due to the potential impacts of the storm and under the direction of local officials, we will be closed beginning Friday, Sept. 8, 2017. We will make sure to give updates throughout this time and will notify you when we are open again.
