Meet Milo Hill of St Petersburg, Florida a 5 year old boy with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).
Milo was diagnosed when he was 3 years old and has been in steady treatment for two years. He has chemo every night at home, receives IV chemo once a month at the hospital, and every 90 days has a spinal tap.
Milo has found Clearwater Marine Aquarium to be his happy place and relates to Nicholas, our resident male dolphin that suffered from 2nd and 3rd degree sunburns when he was 6 months old over 40% of his body.
Milo said he feels like Nicholas is his brother. From the first time he saw Nicholas, Milo whistled and Nicholas came right over to him. Milo feels a connection to Nicholas that he’s never felt before.
